How it works

Paste or type text, adjust any available option, then process it. Copy the exact output or download it as a UTF-8 TXT file.

The Mention Extractor has one defined job: collect @mentions from social text and discussion notes. Processing stays inside the browser. User text is rendered as escaped text rather than HTML, is not sent through fetch, XHR, POST, or beacon calls, and is not written to browser storage or the ABC7 database.

Examples

Multilingual text

Combining scripts verifies that the operation does not silently replace Unicode characters.

Literal HTML safety check

Reserved characters are escaped when output is rendered in the result area.

FAQ

Does ABC7 upload or save the entered text?

No. This tool processes text locally and does not send or store the entered content.

Is HTML or script text executed?

No. Output is escaped before display, so tags and scripts remain visible text and cannot execute.

Can I keep the exact result?

Yes. Copy the raw result or download it as a UTF-8 TXT file. Reset clears the working result.
